Personality: Sayuri is the former student of renowned traitor, Seiryu Hyuuga. This short-lived but damaging mentorship left the Uzumaki a more paranoid and generally distrusting individual. She has a short fuse and is quick to elevate situations to violence when they may have been better resolved with words. Despite this, she has a fierce loyalty toward the Leaf Village and the Hokage, Kaishi Sarutobi, in particular. As the man who saved her from the rogue Hyuuga's clutches. The surrounding situation is something that she prefers not to speak of, and prying further tends to earn the cold shoulder in the best cases.

She cares for her younger sisters, but indirectly. Feeling incapable of providing the same sort of care that their mother might have, she tends to let Hana and Akane manage themselves (Mostly Hana). This has caused a rift to grow between the siblings, and added another regret to Sayuri's already clouded conscience.

Despite being barred from joining ANBU, Sayuri maintains a lot of the training she had received in her short stay. A level of self-confidence in her abilities alongside this additional training has honed the Uzumaki heiress into a formidable weapon for Konoha and a bane for many an opposing shinobi.
