The Sand Empire

The Village Hidden in the Dust, as it was previously known, was a village known for prosperity and peace, until their neighboring villages were in dire need of assistance. With the sands in disarray and refugees flooding in from across the Land of Wind, the Dust would do all it could to expand and grow with the influx of people. In the end, the raiding Storm Empire that had so brutally left their lands barren would take control of their home leaving them with one appointed representative, Noa Kojima. She was young when she assumed her role, which the Storm Empire believed to work in their favor, until it didn’t.

In the years between their overtaking and the current times, Noa had planned from the beginning to remove the Storm shinobi from their sands and retake what rightfully belonged to them. Her only obstacle at the time being her inexperience to lead and her inability to combat such a powerful enemy. For nine years, a special group of individuals was sent to clear The Village Hidden in the Sand and would ultimately accomplish this goal with only one surviving member. Meanwhile, the Dust was doing everything they could to withstand Storm rule and would eventually take the stand they needed under the guidance of Suzume Yuki.

The Village Hidden in the Dust would join the rebellion against the Storm Emperor, who had sent an army to end their treacherous lives that fought against him. The leader of his army, Noa’s own brother, would be wiped from the Earth leading to their victory in overthrowing the tyrant. In the following year, they would settle on rebuilding their home after the tragic battle of powerhouses had taken place right outside their gates. However, with the current tensions between Suzume and Noa rising, it would be obvious that venturing into the Land of Water would be off limits. Noa's only goal for the future being to rebuild the Sand Village and reestablish it as one of the main ninja villages. With this goal in mind along with the newly established independence from the other villages, the Dust Village would be renamed to the Sand Empire. As it currently stands, a new challenger makes its way up the political and military ladders turning the eyes of the Sand to The Village Hidden in the Sound.
