Personality: Kiku is best described as reserved, in no part due to both his affliction and a decade of abuse from those whom share his namesake. Bonds and friendships are to Kiku, a pipe-dream, or otherwise a distant memory for which he finds himself longing. However, the path to such desires is arduous when one has been both shunned and disregarded since birth; even his own parents could not spare him of the abuse.

Kiku views himself as a wallflower, speaking only ever when spoken to, which is in and of itself a rarity. He dare not even breathe when in the presence of certain individuals of his clan, for fear of disrupting the otherwise already tense atmosphere. In spite of his tender age, Kiku firmly understands that he is seen as something of a defect irregardless of the Hyuuga clan's caste system. He often wonders as to the receipt of his treatment were he born a member of the main family, but such trifles only ever seem to wound him further.

Though he harbours an immense, almost overpowering sense of hatred within him, he has instead opted to harness it as an outlet for his training, purely out out spite against their blatant disapproval of his existence. He will get strong one day, stronger than them all, and when that day comes he will claim a spot amongst the village's best and brightest. They will live to regret their choices at such a time. Should anyone deign to cross the veil and shatter the proverbial barrier that surrounds him, they will find that he is loyal, kindhearted and a truly benevolent soul; one that wears his wounded heart upon his sleeve.

Combat Profile

General Fighting Style: Kiku's blindness notwithstanding, his precision and swiftness with regards to his Jūken is exemplary and demands praise. However, his application of the clan's techniques differs greatly from the norm, as is to be expected. His fighting style is entirely reactive, reliant on offence through defence, capitalising on any and all gaps an opponent should leave in the wake of their strikes. As such, Kiku often prefers to support with ranged jutsu techniques or otherwise apply himself as the sensory-type of any given squad, utilising both byakugan and heightened senses to their fullest extent; though he is careful to never overuse his dōjutsu so as to avoid excess eye-strain from overexertion.
