Personality: Calling Kuro evil might be a stretch, but not all that much of one. Kuro is insane, a selective sociopath who places arbitrary values on the things around him irrespective of what the morale consensus might be. To those he is close to or feels fall under his care, he can seem like a fairly good guy if a bit strange and eccentric in his approach, but to anyone else it becomes apparent pretty quickly that he is not all there. Or even.. really half there. The lights are off and the house has been foreclosed 3 separate times, it's a pretty dreary place upstairs but with the right work the lights might still come on occasionally.

Much to Kuro's apparent chagrin, the formation of ninja villages demanded some level of political aptitude and he's had to civilize himself somewhat because of this. No one would confuse him with a politician or someone well-adjusted, but Kuro can socially do enough to get by and even occasionally speaks his mind when matters concerning the village or his clan arise. Beyond this, Kuro tends to seek seclusion and would, if he were allowed, spend the majority of his days alone constructing puppets and death traps for those who'd be simple enough to cross him.
