Catching Up. (Sayuri)
It was a rather slow time in the village. There were certainly stressors making an appearance across the villages, but there wasn’t anything they could act on currently. That was fine with Shikano, considering she hated working anyway. She hated responsibility. She hated having to deal with the genin. She hated going on missions. However, she would always do what she had to do to protect the village. She would do whatever Lord Kaishi asked her to do. It wasn’t always this way. Shikano used to be confident and full of passion. Eventually, all of that changed, but it didn’t matter much. Shikano wasn’t going to live up to anything in this life, but maybe in the next.
A half a day’s worth of sitting around and having existential crises was quite hungering. So, the Nara decided to put on her big girl pants and wander out for some food. See, Shikano lives alone in her 3 bedroom home, however it didn’t seem to be dusted in the area that weren’t typically used. The kitchen was barren of any living supplies. However, the fridge contained chilled alcohol of many kinds. In the freezer there were frozen glasses and ice. A single woman and her coping mechanism.
Shikano would waltz her way into Ichiraku’s, removing her hat as she walked in the door. The hat in question would be placed down on the counter next to where she sat. ”Tonkatsu with extra pork, please?” She would ask, placing some money on the counter. The man would take it, shove it in his pocket, and begin making her order.

Re: Catching Up. (Sayuri)
Sayuri was incredibly bored, for lack of a better term, there was little going on in their neck of the woods and as far as she knew nothing of note to look into. It made avoiding her little sisters incredibly difficult, not that she was running away from them but there was only so much nagging she could handle in a day. Fortunately, she had a method of escape that they couldn’t follow. Though it was probably overkill to use on a couple of genin, the flying thunder god technique could get her out of just about any situation if she was prepared, and the old seal she had carved on a wall outside one of the more popular locations in the village.
She appeared suddenly outside of Ichiraku’s and stepped on inside. “Oh, hey Shikano.” Sayuri waved in greeting and stepped over to take a seat beside her old friend. She ordered her own meal and turned to glance at the Nara. “You look miserable, what’s up?”
Sayuri was never one to mince words, not one of her more endearing features. She leaned over to rest her arms on the counter while they waited for their food. Only occasionally peering over her shoulder to make sure the two menaces she lived with hadn’t caught up.
