Lightning Release

Lightning Release (雷遁, Raiton, English TV: Lightning Style) is one of the five basic elemental nature transformation techniques that allows the user to generate lightning by increasing the high frequency vibrations of their chakra, allowing for piercing damage and fast movement. The electricity paralyses the target so that they are unable to move and leaves them vulnerable to a finishing strike.While uncommon, lightning can be infused into bladed weapons in a way similar to Wind Release through chakra flow for increased piercing power through vibrations, with the added effect of inducing numbness. When the technique is released from their bodies, and thus not requiring physical contact, it does not move as fast as true lightning. Instead, due to the control the user has to exert over it, it moves far slower, which can give opponents time to still react.

Jutsu Description: After forming the necessary hand seals, the user points their hands towards a certain direction and triggers an electrical discharge, which then explodes in a specific form. When the hands are raised to the sky, this technique can be use as a signal flare.

Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This technique is capable of being focused into a straight beam, similar to a laser.

Jutsu Description: This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the technique can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the walls with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

Because of not being focused in one hand, this jutsu does not use as much chakra as Chidori would.

Jutsu Description: The most powerful form of Chidori, this evolution alters the technique from a simple jab to an all out blast. This technique requires a storm to have formed above the user to use. Because of this, the Ninja typically starts the storm off with some technique, or alters reality to summon one. Upon doing so, the user will channel the electricity by raising a conductor, such as a Sword, into the air, and control the lightning, forming it into a ferocious beast, which will then swoop down upon an opponent. Because it is using existing lightning, this technique is able to exceed a ninjas normal capabilities, allowing them to control intense amounts. The lightning beast will roar downward upon an enemy faster then any normal ninja could ever hope to dodge, annihilating them and creating an intense explosion, the size of the blast depending on the ninja.

The lightning also defends the user from most attacks, deflecting them away on contact. The lightning chakra stimulates the user's nervous system, enhancing their speed and their reaction time. The user's reflexes are heightened enough to perform a Lightning Release Body Flicker, dodging attacks as fast as Amaterasu. The user is so fast that not even the Sharingan can track their movements
