Personality: Takao is a fairly serious young man, having witnessed the fall of his particular branch of the family in real time has ensured that he do whatever he could to try and repair their standing within the clan. While his father has seemingly gone mad with paranoia that his traitor brother is going to return any day, Takao made it his mission to ensure that Seiryu Hyuuga pay for his crimes. He tended to get along poorly with the other genin, and being so driven he left most behind anyway. This gave them little option in putting him in the regular shinobi forces. Instead, he found himself introduced to Sayuri Uzumaki to be trained as a recruit for ANBU.

At first he can seem a little distant, but Takao finds himself relaxing a little more about people familiar to him. Particularly those who don't get so easily offended at his somewhat overcritical observations. Though he usually means it in a more constructive manner, no one ever really wants to hear their failures.

He tends to be fairly protective of the few friends that he has, and is quick to step in if he perceives them to be in danger. However, Takao will also step in just about any conflict that he perceives as unfair for whatever reason. Often just to prevent the conflict if at all possible.

General Fighting Style: Takao focuses most of his efforts into Taijutsu, specifically the Gentle Fist style. Having quickly grown accustomed to using the byakugan in combat, Takao aims to swiftly cripple opponents chakra points. While not his only trick, he will rely on this the most unless he determines unarmed combat isn't the best option. He is also trained with the katana, and often carries a paired set of blades with chakra conductive alloys to allow continued use of his clan's techniques.
