Kokoro of the Sound

 The Shinobi Profile General Information Name: Kokoro Clan: Unknown Alias/Bingo book name: Captain Hentai of the Tentacle Tombs Age: 36 Gender: Male Personality: Kokoro's interests are a lot more linear than some might expect or wish to believe, he simply wants to do his research in peace and ensure that the world at large keeps it's distance. This may seem pretty simple, but given the nature of his experimentation and the "complicated subjects" it sometimes requires, it's hard to do it under the nose of the major villages without drawing some ire. It's this in particular that has led Kokoro to work towards the destruction of external villages, and towards making a stronghold out of the Village Hidden in the Sound. Kokoro is not particularly fond of the other major villages, viewing them as bullies when it comes to those who shirk the obligations they assign or to villages too small to avoid their orbit. In his own mind, he believes that the Sound Village is somewhat of a sanctuary, a place where those who don't fit in can find a home if they're willing to protect it.. As far as his actions are concerned, Kokoro is a man of science and so logic is something that greatly appeals to him in comparison to more emotional discussions. Kokoro's views on life are fairly liberal, he believes that they have intrinisic value like anything else but what that may mean in the face of furthering his research is somewhat subject to his whims and wants for the day. Kokoro is pretty comfortable with all the forms of sadism and destruction ninja have employed over the years, but he does have a code and views doing so with the absence of a reason to do so as wasteful and "wrong." His attachment to his subordinates is certainly loose, but he does see himself as a mentor and a shepherd, leading them to a future where the freaks surrounding him may be better equipped to care for themselves in the future.
