Kekkei Genkai Description: This is a nature transformation kekkei genkai, a combination of water and wind. An Ice Release user's presence can lower their surroundings' temperature, causing snow to fall in the immediate vicinity. Similarly, Ryōgi is shown lowering his own body temperature so that his movements will not activate thermal sensors.

Jutsu Description: The user creates walls out of ice crystals to detain their opponents. The reflective surfaces of ice can serve as mirrors for certain genjutsu that requires mirrors to work.

Jutsu Description: After forming the necessary hand seals, nearby water forms long flat mirrors 360 degrees around the target. The user then places themselves inside one of the mirrors. Once inside the mirror, The user can then using the mirror reflections to confuse their target, while almost instantaneously move from one mirror to the other. Due to the speed, their target will appear to be moving in slow motion. Because of this he can then unleash numerous strikes onto their opponent with little difficulty. This technique is immune to being destroyed by jutsu of its own rank, it's rank is equal to the highest rank that the user can have, automatically filling the slot of the highest as soon as the user unlocks it.

Jutsu Description: This technique allows the user to infuse their chakra with ice on the ground and bring it to the surface. The user can then trap their opponent within the ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in the ice. It is strong enough to withstand basic Fire Release techniques, because the ice has already been infused with the user's chakra. The user can also surround themselves with the ice prison to act as a shield.

Jutsu Description: After forming the needed handseals, an avalanche of snow will rain down towards the users opponent, As the snow slides down, it will coalesce into large snow wolves, should the region not allow for an avalanche it will instead create a half dozen wolves out of nearby water and snow to attack the user's target. These wolves can follow the users bidding and attack their opponent. A sufficiently powerful straight thrust can disrupt the wolves and return them to snow.

Jutsu Description: This technique allows the user to create a humongous whale with a long narwhal horn out of preexisting ice to attack their opponent. The user needs a source of ice in order to use this technique. The large bulk of this technique is capable of creating great destruction upon landing. However, due to it's size and lack of speed, this technique is used more as a distraction, or to block an opponent's movements rather than attack.
