Bennosuke's Jutsu List

Bennosuke is incapable of using Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, only being able to detect the latter and release it using Illusion-Cutting Blade. He has knowledge of medical techniques and anatomy, but cannot use Medical Ninjutsu.

Bennosuke generally carries a wakizashi, a sakabato (for training/sparring purposes), and a tanto.

Description: Forged by an ancient smith of the highest caliber, Masamune is considered a national treasure of the Land of Iron. It found it's way into Bennosuke's hands as a gift for becoming one of the youngest to ever achieve the title of Sword-Saint, and is his most prized possession. The blade itself has the ability to cut through nearly anything put in front of it.

The following abilities require Weapon Mastery at Grandmaster level:
- Masamune's ability to cut extends to the tangible effects of the world around it, capable even of cutting chakra and jutsu. B-Rank and lower is cut without effort, while A-Rank can be cut once per post. S-Rank Jutsu can be severed once every three posts. This does not eradicate the effects or erase the jutsu in question, only cutting it.

This ability requires the user to be of No Clan:
- The cooldown required by a Grandmaster to sever jutsu is lowered by 1 post.

Jutsu Description: Bennosuke's "disability" made manifest. This ability has three states - Passive, Active, and Manifest. In the Passive state, the user's Chakra Pathway System is effectively bleeding into the muscles through the Tenketsu, allowing for the entirety of their energy to go towards augmenting physical abilities rather than being outwardly manifested.

In the Active state, the user begins to tap into their enhanced physical abilities, increasing their Strength, Speed, and Endurance by one for a period of roughly eight posts, with a three post cooldown.

By using the command "Transcend" the user is capable of entering the Manifest state, releasing this chakra and causing a massive burst of pressure manifesting as a large dragon coiling and forming into a fierce Buddha standing behind the user before vanishing. In this state, the user's physical abilities are increased to the brink, increasing Strength, Speed, and Endurance by two for a period of five posts, with a four post cooldown while their muscles begin to recover.

Jutsu Description: The ultimate sword technique, it is the epitome of what Bennosuke refers to as the Void. It concentrates all of the user's strength and skill into a single strike of such precision and speed that it causes a burst of light and pressure that explodes outward, causing a massive amount of damage to the surrounding area and even making the battlefield appear as if an eclipse has occurred for a brief moment. The strike itself can only be used once a thread, and will immediately end and double the cooldown on Divine Visage of Kurikara.

Jutsu Description: Through the use of stutter-steps the user is able to accelerate, maneuver, and strike at speeds most eyes are unable to properly follow. This allows the user to close considerable distance in seconds and strike down enemies before they can react. Unlike Body Flicker, this technique does not necessarily require chakra.

Jutsu Description: The term Iaidō (居合道) refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from the scabbard results in slashes that are faster and stronger than ones executed with the sword already drawn.
The speed at which these techniques can be executed — the initial strike in particular — is such, that when performed by a skilled user, it can prevent enemy shinobi from forming hand seals (and thus ninjutsu), by exploiting the small opening that these movements create. This makes them highly effective against most shinobi and potentially, those of even the highest calibre, if performed by someone who has mastered the style.
