Personality: Jinnosuke has always been an outlier when it came to the Moriyama clan. He doesn't seem to harbor the same sort of cruel scheming mind that his brothers are known for. This 'softness' has been attributed to by being separated from the clan for too long during his childhood. This didn't stop him from proving his worth to their father, and eventually gaining the old Emperor's favor. He is a steadfast and honourable young man, considered by some to be too trustworthy of others with the most minute evidence. He tries to see the positive in all things, and is known to lack the same stern, serious mood that many of his clan seem to have by default.

He is a resourseful and clever, having taken many of the lessons on statecraft and warfare rather seriously. Jinno tends to have a knack for picking up new skills swiftly, and has yet to find something that he hasn't been able to excel at if given the time. This drive for improvement is no clearer than his dedication to mastering the katana. Jinnosuke is considered one of the eminant swordsmen from the Land of Storms.

He dislikes the direction of his country, and with his brother in the way Jinno has found he is unable to assist those who need his help the most. He goes out of his way to ensure the safety of just about anyone he comes across, and tends to show little mercy for those who show no signs of remorse or repentance for actions against people who couldn't otherwise defend themselves. This manifests as a bit of a hero complex, where Jinno will go far beyond any reasonable measure to ensure he keeps his promises of protection.

His style is known as 'Mujushin Kenjutsu', that originated from an old sect of monks that lived within his home village. It is an instinctive style that relies on a mastery of basic technique, before focusing this insight out towards foes intentions towards attacks.

History: - Grew up in Hoshizora, a smaller village in the outskirs of the Land of Water.
- Was called to the Capitol by his father for further training.
- Proved to be a good student in both general prowess but a shrewd mind for strategy and statesmanship.
- This elevated him to becoming heir to the clan, while providing a constant threat of attack by his brothers to claim the position.
- Clashed early on with the Seven Swordsmen, having refused an invitation to their ranks. This resulted in a duel where Jinno put the leader in early retirement after removing their dominant hand.
- Wasn't in the Capitol when the rebellion attacked, having been off on another mission at the time. Came back to find his brother had taken over.
- Was given the option to challenge Shinsuke while surrounded by sycophants, or to leave and continue to live.
- Opted to leave, though he snuck off with the family's heirloom blade and a childhood friend before doing so.
