Check-In/Check-Up (Akito/Ahri)

Akito hummed a jaunty little tune to himself as he worked with his hands to shape the odd-looking block of clay in front of him. This stuff, of course, wasn't explosive as he wasn't foolish enough to work with the GOOD stuff in his own office... Probably. Maybe. Well, once or twice. However, it hadn't blown up in his face! His control was far too good for that. He'd randomly been struck with a little bit of inspiration and needed to work out the itch.

The piece was coming along nicely - a human head that appeared to be in the middle of melting, it's lips twisted into a scream. Was it from pain? Relief? Orgasm? That was for the viewer to decide. Art was in the eye of the beholder, really, so it could be hard to appreciate for some. Hence people saying they 'didn't get it' whenever Akito worked to create something beautiful. Pausing for a moment, Akito squinted at the clock with his uncovered eye before dusting off his hands and settling back behind his desk. He was expecting young Ahri to come by today as he'd called her to his office to see how she was doing and check on how her jinchuriki seal was holding.

A small knock would be heard from the door before waiting for him or anyone to give her the ok to enter in the door would slowly open. A small petite girl would slowly walk in closing the door behind her politely seeing her kage she would walk to the center of the room in front of his desk and give a small bow addressing her Kage.

"Good morning sir. You wished to see me?" Her tone was barred without emotion her face blankly staring at the man though the kage would be used to this as this was Ahri usual antics.

Within her mind though was a different story.

Ahri would be mumbling in a craze trying to find out what she did wrong. Did she get caught on some minor pranks she did on people who gave her a cold shoulder due to her position or kids who just didn't understand enough ect. They weren't harmful pranks just a sand trip here and there might have made things more dustier than before and such. Though it didn't help her rambling mind on the SCREAMING RAT IN HER HEAD! As she would turn around to said rat who is screaming at her to kill the kage. *KAAAJAH THERE HE IS HAHAHA HES RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU COME ON USE MY POWER KILL HIM HE PUT ME IN YOU MADE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE BWAHAHHA EVEN YOUR SI-*

Ahri would grimace and immediately silence his voice using her Chakra she learned quite recently that she was able to shut him up for a brief amount of time. It didn't last long sadly due to the power difference but hey getting some peace and quiet was better than none. "Shut it. Don't bring my sister into this you rat." And with that she decided to focus on her Kage hoping she wasn't in trouble.

What the kage would notice as Ahri stood for a brief moment her Chakra would flare up before dying down.

"Good morning, Ahri," Akito began as he held his gloved hands folded atop his desk and in front of him in a relaxed posture. He adopted a genial smile as Ahri shuffled in front of him for a moment, clearly uncomfortable at having been called into the Kage's office for unknown purposes. "You can relax, you're not in any trouble young lady." The elder Ganbi chuckled with mirth as he held up a gloved hand and motioned for her to relax as he took note of the brief flare of chakra before the spike of mystical energy settled as quickly as it rose up.

Internally, Akito pondered how to approach the topic he actually wanted to discuss, that being the sealed bijuu within the young kunoichi before him. Jinchuriki were, by nature, extremely volatile. Not that a Ganbi would shy away from volatility, it was their bread-and-butter after all. However, it was important to step very carefully around them when they were still in the early stages of coming into their own. It was a well-understood fact that the reason you sealed a bijuu inside someone when they were as young as you could get was that the beast you had trapped within a human child was extremely metaphysically dense. They were beings of pure chakra, forces of nature made manifest. Jinchuriki seals were, by nature, slightly imperfect to allow the host body to acclimate to the foreign chakra and eventually synchronize chakra signatures with each other.

This, unfortunately, meant it was critical to keep the child in the dark about their own true nature until they discovered what they were on their own. They were often shunned, abused, or both as a result and as Kage he was usually too busy to actually be able to make any real time for Ahri. At the very least, she had her sister to be there for her and he could only hope she had been acting as a proper caretaker for the girl. "I'll go ahead and cut to the chase: how are you doing?" An odd thing for the Kage himself to take interest in a single child, much less the village pariah, but there was an easy workaround. "I confess, I promised your late parents that I'd make sure you were well cared for." Akito sighed, slumping his shoulders slightly as he continued, "But I am a very busy man, and it's tough to keep an eye on so much with only one good one, so I wanted to check in with you. See how you were doing, make sure your sister was taking proper care of you and all that."

Ahri stared at Akito trying to formulate a reply. She had no clue that the Kage and her parents knew eachother that well. Her sister didn't tell her anything when it came with their parents. Granted she didn't even look or speak to her at all. Multitude of emotions would flash as she thought about the reply one emotion in particular would flash stronger in which the 1 tail gleamed in his cage.

**"Kakakakakakakkakakaa your useless of a sister eey? Why don't you tell him what an awful sister she is or or better yet what don't you let me at her. I can solve all your problems in a blink come on come ooooooon Kakakakakakkakakaaa"**

As her mind would echo as her jailed beast tries to convince her to let him out struggling to reimplement her mental barriers so she couldn't hear the beast at the moment. In what seemed like hours she put them back up hearing silence one again. Her sister cared for her and she knew it. She had to they were sisters after all.

(All of that happened in a span of seconds but her mind preceves it differently)

"Hai everything is going well sir. My sister is providing everything I need. Though I didn't know you knew my parents. Would it be ok if you told me more about them?"
