The Swiftwind Bow of Lightning (Sayua)

Swiftwind Bow of Lightning
Weapon Name: Swiftwind Bow of Lightning

Description: The Swiftwind Bow of Lightning is connected to the Mogami Clan's Chakra Nature of Lightning. As the Bow for the next Mogami Clan's Matriarch. Only the Heiresses can wield the Swiftwind Bow of Lightning, which empowers arrows with their Lightning Chakra Nature. The Swiftwind Bow of Lightning is a purplish gold bow with a solid chakra-infused thread that holds arrows for its wielder to use. It has the Mogami Clan's ornate symbol engraved on the bow. Since it is so engraved in raising a new matriarch for the clan, it is seen as a popular tool in determining if the Matriarch will be a good or a bad leader. So far, the track record of this bow is 50/50 for the clan's leadership.
Abilities
When an Arrow is released from the Swiftwind Bow of Lightning, it does not travel completely straight. Rather, it takes the "path of least resistance" just like a Lightning Bolt does, and therefore makes an unknown amount of tiny trajectory changes throughout its flight. The bow is not "sentient" per se, but the arrows always seem to return to their true mark by the time they reach it, and fly slightly faster than normal arrows. This bow is accurate within 500 feet before the arrows can no longer be trusted to hit their exact mark every time. When a living creature is struck by an arrow fired from this bow, they will receive a small electrical shock.
When the bow is held straight into the air, it will begin building up energy by absorbing the wielder's chakra, which can be observed by a building hum stemming from the bow itself. Hair within 20 feet of the bow, except for the wielder themselves, will begin to stand on edge and gain static electrical charge until the bow reaches a fever pitch, producing a barrier of Lightning Chakra. This consumes an incredible amount of chakra, and the wielder will both suffer physical pain and the chakra drain. The barrier will repel all B-Rank attacks, regardless of source of element, for as long as the user can maintain it. Use of this technique of the Bow is forbidden by the clan, as it will irreversibly damage the wielder's chakra network and scar their body.
