Kekkei Genkai Description: Zenigata bo Hoten Hijutsu is called Spear Dancing Style Ninjutsu. These techniques and the ninjutsu are passed down through the generations in the Zenigata Clan. The Head of the Clan Family has advanced versions of these techniques based around the Sokuto & Sketi Spears. It will usually make the Zenigata Clan members dangerous with how they dance with their Spears when fighting. Also, the Zenigata bo Hoten Hijutsu goes between the two releases, which the Zenigata clan has access to, Wind Release and Fire Release.

Clan History

History: The Zenigata Clan had a militarized structure way before it became a civilian-based structure. They were mercenaries for anyone who hired them but wanted to settle down in a village a long time ago. The village they chose to settle down to lessen their living day by how much money they would get on mercenary contracts or otherwise was the Sabigakure Village. Hiroyuki and his wife Yuuna were tired of that lifestyle of barely making it and wanted to make a name for the Zenigata Clan. Instead of having no allegiances to no one and being hired by the highest bidder of any nation-state, they would be loyal to a specific area, their homelands of The Lands of Dust. This clan had a record larger than anyone would have suspected for a clan of mercenaries. Hiroyuki’s wife Yuuna overflowed with kindness and was selfless in combat situations, meaning she would aid anyone.

The Clan had a system already in place, but it had to be changed for their new settling down type position. The 1st - 12th Spears titles were no longer akin to military-Esque ranks in a mercenary company, and they had to be more civilian-based. The clan specifically discussed it throughout the clan on how they want to shift their positions, and it came to a unanimous decision. The 1st - 4th Spears will be the Clan Leadership Positions, which would be Hiroyuki and his family in the clan. The 5th - 12th Spears will be the Clan Council positions, while the first two in the Council would be previous clan leaders and their wives. The 5th and 6th Positions would be like how the system was previously.

The Zenigata Clan are traditional and praise Hiroyuki, Yuuna, Yukari, and Chiyoko as the ones to stop their endless wandering. The Eternal Spear title and Docile Spear title were given to Hiroyuki and Yuuna, respectively. All because they stopped the endless wandering of their clan so they could grow in strengths. Now, the Clan Leader is Izumi Zenigata, and he’s a traditionalist since he wants to keep to traditions. The Traditions of the Zenigata Clan teach Imasagi and Akakana in their Hijutsu and use the Spears that belong to them. The Sokuto is for the first-born daughter, and Akakana gets the Sketi Spear. They’ve prided themselves on their long lengthy traditions with spears since their entire clan uses spears. These Clan Heirloom Spears were given to Hiroyuki and Yuuna’s daughters Yukari and Chiyoko to be their first wielders.

Imasagi has been taught to be primarily offensive with her spear dancing techniques, while Akakana is similarly going to be like the Docile Spear, a Spear wielder with medical ninjutsu. All Zenigata Clan members are wholly loyal to their clan and the village they live in.

The Clan is 300 - 600 members strong, which follow the rules given out by their Clan Head and their Clan Council. All of the rules help the continued growth of Sabigakure by supporting the village leader to the letter.

The Eternal Spear and Docile Spear are honored in the Zenigata Clan as the original creators of the Clan. On the anniversary of their clan, they honor Hiroyuki, Yuuna, Yukari, and Chiyoko for their role as the 1st Head of the Clan and their family. Also, Yuuna was a Medical Ninja that overflowed with kindness and was selfless in combat situations.

Whenever one of the children in the Zenigata clan could wield the full power of the Clan Relic Spears, they would be given the challenge to help that outside of their village. So far, only one person has passed this challenge, Imasagi Zenigata. All the other clan heiresses of the clan chose to craft their spears. Nothing is known if Imasagi's younger sister would be the second to pass the test, but time will tell.

The Clan Relic Spears:

The Clan Relic Spears are the most potent spears in their specific natures of Wind and Fire. It was once said that only two people in the clan could calm the Sokuto Spear's Raging Winds and the Sketi Spear's Raging Fire. Hiroyuki Zenigata and his wife Yuuna Zenigata, the Eternal Spear and the Docile Spear, respectively. Hiroyuki Zenigata wielded the Sokuto Spear, but when he died, it caused a raging windstorm to erupt from the spear, classified as an F5 Tornado to form in the Land of Fire. If it weren't for the intervention by Brighteye, the Revered Eagle, Konohagakure, would have been devastated by the winds.

The Docile Spear wielding the Sketi Spear was devastated when her husband was assassinated by a Mogami clan assassin, retiring from wielding the Sketi Spear. She wouldn't want devastation even worse than what could have happened to Konohagakure Village to happen to another. Therefore the clan throughout history has been ever vigilant in keeping these spears in check by a seven-day and seven-night ritual to seal them in the home of the First and Second Spears, the Co-Leaders of the Zenigata Clan. However, the Sokuto Spear was used one final time outside of its seal, by order of the Storm Empire's Emperor. All for a plan to devastate the Konohagakure Village, Kotone Zenigata and her husband Izumi Zenigata only went halfway with the Emperor's plan. The one that broke Izumi Zenigata's Seal was unlike any other. She was named Izumi Suzuki, the female Genin from Konohagakure Village, who was part of a pretty potent bunch of Genin with a beautiful life ahead of them. Thankfully, Kotone retrieved the Zenigata's Relic Spear of Wind before it could honestly devastate all of Yukigakure Village and kill her daughter, Imasagi, in the same breath.
