So much so that he was at one point nominated for the position of Kazekage by the Kazusa Clan Head, however; Denki politely refused feeling his time was better spent elsewhere. This 'elsewhere' is re-socializing the aberrant outcast Kuro, a promising young member of the clan who's talents the Village currently cannot afford to waste. Denki is an old soul: unrushed and unhurried he moves through life at his own pace. But make no mistake - even in his advanced age he is a deadly fighter.
