Personality: Zangetsu has seen firsthand the depths of human disparity and how badly people want to survive. He is cold, callous, and jaded, but most of it is a mask to hide the pain he's in over who he's lost. As a Hozuki, he has a natural affinity for Water, which even translates into his personality; at first he seems like a frozen lake, but a little bit of warming up and suddenly he's a hot spring.

In battle he tends to be deliberate and decisive, not sugarcoating situations or wasting time or energy. He is efficient, professional, and believes that only the strong should survive, but any child can become strong with enough training. Weak adults are worthless, but children have an inherent value in their ability to become strong or weak based on parenting.
