Village Hidden in the Leaves

Hidden Leaf is one of the most powerful ninja villages in the world. The village was founded approximately 65 years ago when several ninja clans came together. These included the Senju Clan of the Forest, which included the brothers who would become First and Second Hokage and the Uchiha Clan. In the beginning the gathered group was essentially a ninja unit; with the First's death his younger brother established the village infrastructure. By the end of the first Ninja World War, Konoha had grown and its citizenship diversified.

Village Hidden in the Glade

The Glade Village exists under the Leaf Village umbrella as a sovereign state charged with the protection of the Fire Daimyo. Within the Glade lies the 12 Guardian Shinobi, sprawling forests, bugs, snakes, and even nerds with glasses.

Village Hidden in the Sound

The Village Hidden in the Sound was founded for the express purpose of collecting ninja for unnamed experiments.

Ruins of the Sand Village

The Village Hidden in the Sand, Sunagakure, was located in the mountains that once made up the border between two once great nations. With the recent war unfolding between the Sand and the Leaf Villages, a massive forest of trees created by Kaishi Sarutobi demolished the Sand Village to ruins along with the unfathomable strength of the Leaf forces. The Sand Village was reduced to a shell of its former self and abandoned.

Windswept Desert

This desert makes up the majority of the southern half of the land of dust, the wind traveling across the sands mostly undisturbed by anything solid, allowing it to dance across the dunes freely.

The Stone Teeth

A massive range of mountains, jutting out of the ground like a range of massive mile high stalagmites, almost giving an impression of pointy teeth jutting upwards towards the sky. Intermixed among them are large plateaus. The winds that tear through the tops send loose stones falling from the peaks pelting those below as part of a natural phenomenon of the area called the Rock Rain

Land of Iron

The Land of Iron (鉄の国, Tetsu no Kuni) is an icy, snow-covered country located among three mountains called the Three Wolves (三狼, Sanrō). Unlike other countries of the world whose militaries use shinobi, the Land of Iron's military is made up of samurai. Due to the differing ideologies between shinobi and samurai – as well as the fact that the Land of Iron's samurai are quite formidable – there is an agreement among shinobi not to interfere with the Land of Iron.

Village Hidden in the Snow

Yukigakure is a hidden village located in the Land of Snow. Its ninja apparently specialize in manipulating pre-existing ice, typically in the forms of various animals.
